Investigate and resolve an issue

Log Lens tracks each issue through a workflow so you always know what's been dealt with.

1. Open the issue

Click an issue to see its representative message, stack trace, structured context, occurrence timeline, and history. Toggle Skip vendor to hide framework frames and focus on your own code.

2. Get the raw evidence

If the representative sample isn't enough, open a specific occurrence to fetch the exact raw event from the archived log - useful when an error varies between occurrences.

3. Move it through the workflow

Set the status as you work:

  • In progress - you're investigating (add a note explaining what you found).
  • Fixed - you shipped a fix. Every change is recorded in an immutable timeline with your note.
  • Won't fix - expected behavior you're accepting.

If a fixed issue happens again after a later import, Log Lens automatically flips it to Reoccurred so it resurfaces.

4. Work in bulk (optional)

Select multiple issues to change status or add/remove a tag in one action - each gets its own history entry.
